Platinum credit card
We are one of the first South African financial institutions to offer a
credit card to meet the exacting standards of wealthy individuals.
Platinum credit cards are issued by invitation only to selected customers.
A platinum card helps you to consolidate all your purchases and payments on
to one card account.

As a Platinum credit cardholder, you are entitled to the following benefits and features:
- 24-hour access to the Platinum customer-care line on 0800 600 074
- Access to the Platinum Concierge Service, which provides invaluable support around
the clock and around the world. You can ask your concierge for:
- Business planning
- Entertainment, leisure and travel services
Your platinum card also entitles you to a range of superb benefits with Platinum
Preferred, a one-stop boutique for unforgettable African and Indian Ocean island
experiences. At participating restaurants, the following benefits are exclusive
to Standard Bank Platinum Card holders.
- Medical services.
- Emergency message facility
Your concierge will assist with the relaying of messages during a medical or other
emergency and will keep you informed on the status of such assistance.
- Travel insurance When you pay for travel tickets with your Platinum card, you
qualify for free travel insurance. Additional cover is also available at a fee.
