The British Airways Gold Credit card combines the benefits of a gold status credit card with the British Airways Executive Club. The card introduces you to a world of rewards and convenience and lets you enjoy the complete flexibility of your benefits and rewards. The British Airways credit card offers you:
Earn one BA Mile for every R7.50 you spend on your British Airways MasterCard credit card (excluding cash withdrawals).
Double your miles. Earn TWO BA Miles for every R7.50 spent when you use your card to buy BA products such as flights, holidays, in-flight duty free, etc.
Free Companion Voucher. If you spend R200 000 on your card within a 12-month period you can take a companion on a free flight (excluding taxes, fees and cash charges).
250 Avis Bonus BA Miles. Every time you use your BA MasterCard credit card to pay for an Avis booking you will receive 250 BA Miles as a 'thank you' bonus.
Luxury BA Lounge access. If you spend R250 000 a year using your card you will have access to our superb luxury lounges, where you will be treated in a manner you'll certainly want to become accustomed to. You can even bring a guest, if they, too, are flying aboard a BA or Comair flight.
Join the Executive Club. When you get a BA MasterCard credit card you automatically become a member of our Executive Club, our global frequent flyer programme, enabling you to accumulate BA Miles as well as Tier Points. Tier Points allow you to progress through the tier levels from Blue, to Silver to Gold card holders. With each progression comes greater benefits such as lounge access and priority check-in.
