Don't be a victim - Take note of this important security alert!
Criminals use phishing to try to get you to give them your banking and other personal information. Don't get caught by these scams.
Do not use public access points for internet banking
Please note that using internet banking from public access points (such as but not limited to internet cafes) is strictly prohibited.
Electronic banking agreement updated
The Electronic banking agreement was updated on the 30 April 2009. To view the updated agreement go to the Internet banking log on page and select the "Electronic banking agreement" option from the left hand menu.
Don't rely on snail mail, get your credit card statement via email
Call 0861 201 000 and speak to one of our Card Division consultants or send an email with your contact details to CardElectronicStatement@standardbank.co.za and a consultant will call you.
Paying your Standard bank vehicle and asset finance account via internet banking
When making a once-off payment to or loading ”Standard bank vehicle and asset finance” as a beneficiary on internet banking make sure that you select the beneficiary type as ”Company”.
Once you have selected "Company" as the beneficiary type, search for and select ”Standard bank vehicle/asset fin payments” from the listed beneficiaries
Ensure that you use your Standard bank vehicle and asset finance account number as the ”beneficiary reference” when adding the beneficiary or making the once-off payment. This is to ensure that your payment is correctly credited to your vehicle and asset finance account.
Do not make payments into your personal vehicle and asset finance account number as this number is meant to be used as a beneficiary reference when making payments.
Daily system maintenance on Internet banking
Please note that we have scheduled system maintenance on Internet banking on a daily basis.
The schedule is as follows:
Mondays to Saturdays : From 01:29 am to 02:00 am
Sundays : From 00:10 am to 06:00 am
Internet banking service is not available during the maintenance period.
