MoneyMarket Call Account is a premium money market investment account that earns highly competitive interest rates and the funds deposited are available on demand (immediate access). There is no defined investment period, so funds can be invested in the money market indefinitely.
- There are no upfront commissions or fees, and your capital is secure.
- The minimum opening deposit requirement for the MoneyMarket Call Account is R 250 000 and the minimum balance requirements is R 100 000.
- The minimum transaction amount for depositing, transferring and withdrawing funds is R 5 000.
- It facilitates quick and easy deposits, transfers and withdrawals.
- Apart from Cash Deposit Fee (charged only when cash is deposited to the account), there are no fees charged on the account.
- The best way of accessing funds is by transferring them to a Standard Bank transactional account and then accessing them from the transactional account.
- No fee is charged when transferring the funds from the MoneyMarket Call Account to a Standard Bank transaction account.
- There is also no fee charged when transferring funds from the Standard Bank transactional account to the MoneyMarket Call Account.
- There is flexibility of making an unlimited number of deposits and transfers into the account provided the minimum transaction amount of R 5 000 is maintained.
- Interest rates are reviewed in line with changes in the money market rates.
