Select an application option
Private individual application
Is available to any natural person over the age of 21 years. The bond will be registered in one name only.
Joint application
Any natural persons over the age of 21 years who wish to purchase a property in their joint names.
Company application
A close corporation can buy property provided that Section 40 of the Close Corporations Act is not contravened. This sets out the conditions under which a close corporation may finance the purchase of a member's interest.
A company can buy a property provided that Section 38 of the Companies Act is not contravened.
Trusts
Inter vivos and testamentary trusts qualify to register property in their name.
