Short dial number from your pre-paid handset

This is a free call and you don’t need to have airtime to make this call from a pre-paid handset, if you call the landline numbers, standard Telkom rates apply. Each service provider has its own number for recharges.

Cell C: 14311 from a pre-paid handset or 0860123108 from a landline

MTN: 565 from a pre-paid handset or 083 156 5656 from a landline

Vodacom: 11 333 from a pre-paid handset or 082 11333 from a landline

Virgin Mobile: There is no short dial number. Please call 0860123108

Below are the easy steps you need to follow to recharge airtime:
  • Call the service provider from your pre-paid cellphone
  • Enter your card number and CSP
  • Select the cellphone network from the menu.
  • Follow the voice prompts
You will receive an SMS confirming that your cellphone’s airtime has been recharged.
