We have added functionality that makes it easier to recharge your airtime using Internet banking.
The Internet banking offering is unique in that you can recharge up to 20 numbers and can set your recharges for future and recurring dates.
Below are the easy steps you need follow to recharge airtime:
To recharge a cellphone
- Click on the Pre-paid option on the main Internet banking screen from the top bar
- Click on recharge
- Select the account which you want to transact from
- Select your service provider. Available options Cell C, MTN, Vodacom and Virgin Mobile
- Select a predefined recharge amount applicable to your service provider or select the "other amount" option if you want to recharge a different amount
- Enter the Cellphone number
- Click on Purchase now, Future-dated or recurring purchase
- Click on Continue
- The confirmation screen will be displayed
- Confirm transaction details if correct
- The result page will display the debit account, cellphone number, amount, transaction type and future purchase date. Print option available
To purchase a Telkom voucher
- Click on the Pre-paid option on the main screen from the top bar
- Click on recharge
- Select the account which you want to transact from
- Select Telkom
- Select a predefined recharge amount from R40, R50, R100 or R200
- Click on Continue
- The confirmation screen will be displayed
- Confirm transaction details
- The result page will then display the voucher number, amount, source account and invoice number. Print option available
- Click Print
- A new window will open with receipt details
- Click Print
- The pre-paid recharge invoice will have a Standard Bank logo, voucher number, amount and source account.
- You need to keep the voucher to enter the recharge number on your Telkom Pre-paidFone.
Note: To use Internet Banking you need to use your card number and customer-selected PIN from your self-service banking profile. If you do not have a self-service banking profile click here for more information.
