E Plan is your account if convenience matters to you. It is an electronic account that simplifies your everyday banking and savings needs.
It is the ideal account for anyone with a monthly income of under R5 000 a month but wants the flexibility to save money and also make payments out of the same banking account.
Your E Plan ATM card is also a debit card and it can be used to pay for purchases and draw cash at stores showing the Maestro sign. Please note that shops will let you withdraw cash at their discretion and may not do it for whatever reason, such as them not carrying sufficient cash to issue.
To open an E Plan account you will need:
- an opening balance of R50; and
- a valid South African identity document.
- Proof of address and income required
