You have your salary and any other deposit paid into your Achiever current account, making it the centre of your finances. You can withdraw cash, transfer money into your other accounts, such as your credit card, or make payments to third parties through your Achiever current account.
What makes an Achiever current account great?
- You can apply for an overdraft to give you access to extra cash when you need it. You only pay interest on the amount used. The really great thing is that once you've had your account for more than six months you can apply to increase or decrease your limit yourself at an AutoPlus machine, through Internet, telephone or cellphone banking.
- You can apply for a cheque card that allows you to make payments directly from your account.
- You can load debit orders or set recurring payments to ensure your regular monthly payments are made on time.
How does it work?
It's so simple. You have your salary paid into your Achiever current account and then either use your cheque card to pay or draw cash when you need it. Should you want to transfer funds between accounts or pay another individual or business, you could use Internet banking or one of our other electronic banking channels.
Should you have an overdraft limit loaded to your current account you can withdraw funds up to the set limit, and there are no monthly repayments. Every time money is deposited into your account the outstanding balance on your overdraft will decrease by the amount deposited.
To pay with your cheque card you simply present it anywhere you see the MasterCard sign, which is pretty much anywhere, worldwide. The consultant will swipe the card, you sign the slip and the amount will be taken from the available balance in your current account.
