Comprehensive Protection Plan
A lump sum benefit of up to R90 000 is paid upon the accidental death of the insured person. The plan provides cover for permanent total disability as well as a hospital cash benefit resulting from an accident.
Summary of benefits
- A lump sum of up to R90 000 for accidental death.
- Disability benefits include loss of sight, hearing, limbs, hands, fingers, feet and toes.
- Hospital cash benefit of up to R900 per day for a maximum of 180 days for hospitalisation.
- Mobility benefit - actual costs up to R15 000 to cover the reasonable cost of a wheelchair, home alterations and motor vehicle modifications, if the insured becomes paralysed as a result of an accident.
- Annual child education benefit of R1 500 per child for a period of three years, limited to a maximum of three children, payable on accidental death of an insured breadwinner.
- Motor Hijack benefit – lump sum R1 500, for hospital stays of 3-5 days, lump sum R3000 for hospital stays of more than 5 days.
- Final expenses – additional accidental death benefit.
