Standard Bank is looking for graduates from various fields of study with a strong mathematical and statistical background. Do I need to have a postgraduate qualification to be considered for the Quants Graduate Programme? No, although a postgraduate qualification will be an advantage. Would I be considered for the Quants Graduate Programme if I still have a few modules left to be completed in 2010? Unfortunately you will need to have already completed all your modules to be considered. Do I get paid while on the Quants Graduate Programme? Graduates will be paid a market-related salary while on the programme. Where would I be based for the duration of the programme? Graduates will be based at the Standard Bank head office in Johannesburg for the duration of the programme. Can I apply for more than one graduate programme? You are welcome to apply to more than one of the graduate programmes that Standard Bank offers. Can I further my studies while on the Quants Graduate Programme? A component of the programme includes studying towards a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) qualification. Bursaries are offered to graduates who wish to pursue these qualifications. Where do I get application forms? There is no application form for this programme.
