 As the first candidates to be selected onto the programme, this was the opportunity we had been looking for. The stimulating environment and audit the approach we have learned over the past three years has equipped us with the skills required to comply with best audit practice.
Having left the programme at the end of 2008, we are ready for the new challenges that lie ahead in our respective business areas and we aim to add value to both our clients and Standard Bank as whole.

 It's a great opportunity to be here as it provides one great exposure to the whole banking system. We have, in the short space of time understood how sensitive the banking system is and why the need for Internal Audit function is important to ensure that the risks identified are appropriately dealt with. It is our aim to ensure that the bank achieves its goal of long term sustainability through our audits and the programme provides us with the relevant platform to realize that. |
 Joining the programme has given us a great opportunity to learn and get an in-depth understanding of internal auditing. This programme is definitely where one should start if you are keen on getting a head start in this career path. We can only get better as we get more exposure to every aspect of this big bank and it is our objective to grow personally and professionally as we maneuver our way to the top. |
