Highlights

  • in recognition of the 10th anniversary of democracy and in support of advancing a diverse and healthy democracy in South Africa, we changed our policy to assist in funding the democratic process; and

  • more than 200 public sector decision-makers and officials benefited through Standard Bank’s public sector capacity building programme.

Looking ahead we will strive to

  • continue the group’s efforts in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) sphere; and

  • focus activities to meet future development needs of the country.
