To ensure our long-term sustainability
and to strategically position the importance of
enhancing the organisation’s leadership effectiveness,
we have developed a 360-degree leadership development
process that:
- measures our leaders’ behaviour against agreed
effectiveness criteria; and
- addresses areas for development at an individual,
team and organisational level.
In 2004, 327 executive and senior managers completed
the 360-degree leadership development process,
having received feedback from about 3 500 of their
managers, peers and subordinates. During 2005,
all remaining executive and senior managers in
the group will complete the process in their working
teams.
