Our line executives are primarily
responsible for driving, managing and assessing
the process of socioeconomic transformation in
our South African operations. This process is
managed at four levels:
- each business unit’s executive management
team measures its business unit’s progress monthly;
- our charter implementation committee, comprising
executives from different business units, meets
monthly to examine progress;
- our group executive committee reviews monthly
progress reports; and
- our group transformation committee meets quarterly
to monitor transformation progress.
All employment policies have been reviewed to
remove impediments to the recruitment, development
and retention of black employees.
