We continue to pursue a human resources
(HR) agenda that entrenches our ability to deliver
a world class banking service to our global clients.
Identifying and engaging talent has been the main
theme of the past year and this has been achieved
through a number of initiatives. During the year
we launched a 360-degree leadership feedback and
development programme for the senior executive
team; and partnered with our colleagues in Johannesburg
to develop a wholesale leadership development
programme focused on succession planning in order
to ensure key staff retention and to lay the foundation
for future business growth.
Training and development will continue to be
the focus of our HR strategy over the coming year
and we will be launching a number of programmes
to enhance our technical skills and to further
develop our management teams.
