Our cellphone banking service lets you bank whenever you want, wherever you want. It's like having an ATM in your pocket!

You can top-up your prepaid airtime, check your balances, view mini-statements and transfer money between your accounts or pay accounts at anytime of day or night.

Best of all, there are no transaction fees when doing a balance enquiry or mini-statement.

To bank with your cellphone all you need is:
  • An active MTN or Vodacom account (Cell C is not currently available)
  • A 32k SIM card
  • Your (sum)1 card number
  • A CSP. If you have used Internet or Telephone banking before, then you will use the same CSP.
  • Cellphone banking activated on your Self-service banking profile.
If you need to create a Self-service banking profile, or simply to amend you profile, you can do so through the Internet (www.standardbank.co.za) or by phoning 0860 238 837.
