The remote working model that many South Africans have had to adapt to has further highlighted the need for affordable data solutions. We have recently launched our range of Fixed-LTE solutions designed to meet this need.
Powered by the MTN network, these new plans include a router and are offered on a month-to-month basis, with no long-term contract lock-in. The plans range from R69 per month for 5GB Anytime Data to R139 per month for 50GB Anytime Data.
Our Fixed-LTE service is designed to be used at your home, office or at a specific location, and the service will be locked to the address for which you placed the order. If you decide to move, you can request to have your Standard Bank Fixed-LTE moved to another location up to 2 times per calendar year.
You can also top up your data with recurring packages or once-off data bundles for the following prices:
Recurring Fixed-LTE packages:
- 20GB for R139/month
- 50GB for R259/month
- 100GB for R359/month
- 250GB for R879/month
DOnce-off Fixed-LTE data bundles with 60-day validity:
- 5GB for R39
- 10GB for R69
- 20GB for R129
- 50GB for R289
The process of getting a Fixed-LTE product is quick and seamless, and your SIM will be activated within 24 hours after you’ve inserted it into an approved router.
