Property Inspection

Property inspection product detail

Whether you're buying or selling or want to keep your home in good condition, you'll need a property inspection report to understand areas that may need attention.

The price for the property inspection will depend on property size (number of rooms) but ranges between R2450 and R3900.

SOME OF THE BENEFITS

Buying a home?

A significant reason house insurance claims get rejected is due to bad workmanship or lack of maintenance. Getting a property inspection before purchasing your home could save you from unforeseen expenses. It also costs less than you might think.

Selling a home?

A property inspection is one of the best ways to know what you'll need to repair to get the best price when selling. We can also estimate the market value for you.

Maintaining your home?

We can help you maintain your home so that it retains its value and you avoid potential claims rejection. We can also let you know whether your home is over or under-insured.
What you get

A property inspection report that includes:

  • A detailed list of repairs you'll need to do
  • An estimated cost of the repairs
  • An estimated replacement value (your insurer will request this)

Please note that property inspections are not applicable for the following:

  • New constructions or Building loans
  • Vacant land loans
  • Bond re-advances
  • Bond switching
