How it works

  • Claims must be submitted within 12 months of the insured person’s death
  • Claimants need to provide proof of their relationship with the policyholder or insured member
  • Claims are processed by the Liberty Group once all information is verified
  • Approved claims are paid out within 48 hours

Exclusions

  • Cover is limited to 5 children and 1 spouse
  • The maximum sum assured is R100 000 per person for the policyholder and spouse
  • Children are limited to R 30 000 benefit
