Who qualifies to open a Virtual Card?
Anyone who has access to our Banking App and an active Credit, Evolve, or Debit Card account can create a Virtual Card.
Why didn’t I earn UCount Rewards Points on my Virtual Prepaid Card purchase?
Only qualifying* Virtual Credit, Evolve and Debit Cards can earn UCount Rewards Points.
How much does a Virtual Card cost?
There’s no fee to create or maintain a Virtual Card. Transactional fees apply.
Which devices/systems is the Virtual Card supported on?
The Virtual Card is supported on all major operating systems, including iOS and Android, and can be added to compatible digital wallets.
Can I block or cancel my Virtual Card?
Yes, you can switch off or cancel your Virtual Card anytime from the Banking App if you suspect fraud or no longer need it.
If I have cancelled my Virtual Card, will my account be blocked?
No, cancelling your Virtual Card does not affect your primary account or physical cards.
Can I create a Virtual Card on any device?
No, you can only create a Virtual Card using your trusted device. A trusted device is one you regularly use to access your Banking App.
How can I check if my device is trusted?
Sign into your Banking App, tap on “More” at the bottom of your home screen, navigate to “Security” and select “View all devices”. All your trusted devices will be listed here. You can select one of the listed devices to view and toggle the settings to your preference.
Can a secondary cardholder create a Virtual Card?
Yes, Virtual Cards can be created by the primary and secondary account holders.
How can a secondary cardholder create a Virtual Card linked to a primary account?
The secondary cardholder can create a Virtual Card if their card is linked to their dashboard. If the card is not showing, it means it still needs to be linked. In that case, the secondary cardholder will need help from their banker to link the card before creating the Virtual Card.
How do I enable digital wallet payments for my Virtual Card?
You can add your Virtual Card to your digital wallet through the Banking App or directly from your wallet app.
Can I add my Virtual Card on Scan to Pay?
Yes, the Virtual Card can be linked to supported QR payment platforms.
Can I personalise my Virtual Card?
Yes, you can customise your Virtual Card name and appearance when creating it in the Banking App.
Where can I use my Virtual Card?
You can use your Virtual Card for online transactions, in-store payments via digital wallets, and recurring subscriptions.
Where do I view all my active Virtual Cards?
Your active Virtual Cards are displayed in the "Cards" section under “Virtual cards” on the Banking App.
How can I view the transaction history on my Virtual Card?
Tap the "Transactions" category of your Virtual Card on the Banking App.
Where can I view my Virtual Card details?
Sign into your Banking App, go to "Cards," select your Virtual Card, and view details like card number, expiry date, and dynamic CVV.
Do I need a PIN to make online purchases using my Virtual Card?
No, but you’ll need to authenticate transactions through 3D Secure or OTP as required.
When will I be required to input a PIN when using my Virtual Card?
You might need to enter a PIN when completing a contactless payment at terminals displaying the “contactless” symbol. The PIN for your Virtual Card is unique and can be found in your Banking App under the corresponding Virtual Card details.
If my physical card is reported as lost/stolen, will my Virtual Card(s) be blocked?
No, your Virtual Card remains active unless you specifically block it or request the bank to block/delete it.
How much can I spend on my Virtual Card?
Your Virtual Card spending limit is determined by the available balance in your linked account and the limit set up on your account.
Do I need to pre-fund my Virtual Card before I can perform a transaction?
No, the Virtual Card directly accesses the funds in your linked account.
Do I have access to all the funds in the account my Virtual Card is linked to?
Yes, you can spend up to the available balance, subject to transaction limits.
How do I report fraud on my Virtual Card?
Use the Banking App to block the card immediately and contact the fraud line for further assistance.
Can I view pending transactions on my Virtual Card from the Banking App?
Yes, pending transactions are displayed in the transaction history.
Will I be able to view my Virtual Card transaction history on my statements?
Yes, all your Virtual Card transaction history will reflect on your funding account statement with a clear indication of the transactions that went through your Virtual Card.
Do I need to authenticate all my online transactions when using the Virtual Card?
Yes, online transactions require authentication for added security
What is an extended mode period?
Extended mode refers to the period during which there will be limited functionalities available on the Virtual Card. This is usually between 00:00am and 3:00am.
What capabilities are available when in extended mode?
You can still use your Virtual Card for transactions, but some features like dynamic CVV updates may be limited.
How many Virtual Cards can I have?
You and your secondary cardholder can create up to 3 Virtual Cards per day.
I made a purchase with my Virtual Card and the item I received is not what I ordered/I have not received my goods. What should I do?
Dispute the transaction through the Banking App by selecting the transaction in question and following the dispute resolution process.
Can I create a Virtual Credit Card for my Evolve account?
Yes, your Evolve account is eligible for a Virtual Evolve Card.
Will transactions made with my Virtual Credit or Evolve Card count towards airport lounge access?
Yes, all transactions made using your Virtual Credit or Evolve Card will be included in your total spend, and will count towards determining your eligibility for lounge access.
Can I use my Virtual Cards to enter airport lounges?
No, you still  need a physical card to access the lounge, even if you qualify based on your spend.
