Make quick & secure payments with PayShap
Need to pay someone fast - make a digital payment using their PayShap ID!
Step 1 of 10
To begin, go to your home screen and select Transact on the (bottom navigation).

Now select the Pay option.

On the Pay screen, select the PayShap payment option.
Step 4 of 10
Now enter the ShapID of the person you would like to pay.
Step 5 of 10
Next, select VERIFY (on the top navigation).

Now wait a few seconds while we verify the PayShap details for the PayShap ID you provided.

Next, complete your payment details:
- select your account you want to make the payment from
- amount you want to pay (this may not exceed R3 000)
- your payment references
When you are ready, select REVIEW.

Now check that all the payment details are correct. PayShap payments cannot be reversed!
When you are ready to submit your PayShap payment, select CONFIRM.
Hint: use the back button (on the top navigation) to go back and amend your payment details.
Step 9 of 10
Finally, enter the 5 digit one time pin (OTP) which will be sent to your cellphone number, to confirm your PayShap payment.
Select DONE.
Step 10 of 10
All done!
Your PayShap payment will be paid and cleared within minutes.
Select DONE to return to the Pay screen.
